Carolina Alliance, Wofford team-up for March of Dimes
You could say Carolina Alliance scored big for the March of Dimes! During the Wofford Terriers’ 2012- 2013 basketball season Carolina Alliance sponsored “3 for $23.” For every three-point shot a Wofford player made, Carolina Alliance pledged $23 to the March of Dimes. The Terriers ended the season with 182 three-pointers which meant the March of Dimes received $4,186, which was raised and/or contributed by bank staff.
During the Wofford-Georgia Southern football game, bank staff made the check presentation to the March of Dimes. Presenters included, from Carolina Alliance, Nichole Buchanan, Janice Addington, John Poole and Carolyn MacIntosh, and from the March of Dimes, Tammy Gregg.
The “3 for $23” promotion was so successful the bank is once again sponsoring it for 2013-2014.
