Upstate ITS is a small business that specializes in providing computer consulting services to other small businesses in the Upstate. Founded in 2004, Up­state ITS’ goal is not to merely fix a computer and leave; we strive to develop relationships and help businesses create a vision for their future business needs. Owner Richard Burgess and Steve Beck have a combined 35 plus years’ experience in the computer and consulting industry.

Of course, Upstate ITS, as business computer consultants, can handle any needs that arise involv­ing any Microsoft Technology or Apple environment. They offer a diverse range of expertise from setting up a basic small business server to higher end WAN, VPN, active directory, exchange or SQL applications.

What gives Upstate ITS a competitive advantage is their diverse backgrounds and areas of exper­tise. Richard, in addition to being a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, is also a CPA. Steve, in ad­dition to his military experience in high end communications, is also an expert in any Apple or Mac environment. Having a CPA and military background gives Upstate ITS, at its core values, a sound understanding of a business’ infrastructure and allows clients to trust that they will receive relevant and honest advice as it relates to their business and computer needs.

On the weekends you can usually find Richard on the golf course fine tuning his game or find Steve around town or in the mountains looking for that perfect photo.
