Carolina Alliance Among Country’s
Top-Ranked De Novo Banks
Carolina Alliance has been named one of the country’s top-ranked de novo banks of 2007 by the American Bankers Association.
In a comparison with other start-up banks that opened last year, Carolina Alliance was ranked as South Carolina’s top performer and No. 13 nationally in the ABA’s “The Banking Class of 2007.” This list names the top 50 banks chartered in 2007 as ranked by assets on December 31, 2007.
Carolina Alliance had total assets of $102,800,000 as of December, 31, 2007. This placed it in the top 10 percent of all banks that opened in 2007 and well ahead of most of the other 180 banks that opened in that time frame.
“Our goal has always been to provide the best customer service and bring together the top banking professionals in this market,” said Carolina Alliance President and CEO John Poole. “Being named the country’s 13th largest de novo bank of 2007 is confirmation that we are headed in the right direction.”
